Awards
AGOSCI is now calling for nominations for two very special awards. These awards are awarded at the closing ceremony of the AGOSCI conference in Adelaide in May 2011. Two awards are available as follows:
The AGOSCI Award for Service to AGOSCI is intended to honour someone who has made an outstanding contribution to our group. If an Award is conferred, it will be presented during the AGOSCI National Conference. Nominators and seconders must be financial members of AGOSCI. Nominees need not be members.
The AGOSCI Award for Service to Australian AAC is intended to honour someone who has made an outstanding contribution to our industry. If an Award is conferred, it will be presented during the AGOSCI National Conference. Nominators and seconders must be financial members of AGOSCI. Nominees need not be members.
Nominations close on March 12th so please use the forms on the web site (links below) to propose the person you feel has made a significant contribution in these areas. You can nominate for each award or just one. The nominations are to be forwarded to Tracey Bode as the person appointed by AGOSCI to receive the forms. A small committee will consider the nominations in order to finalise the award. This is an opportunity to thank someone who has made an important contribution which may be local or national, so please put forward your nomination/s.
