Invitation and Welcome to Brisbane

On behalf of the conference committee, it is with great pleasure to invite you to AGOSCI’s 12th
Biennial Conference, May 2015.
The conference theme ‘Best in AAC’ Show was influenced by the choice of venue located within
the iconic Brisbane Showgrounds.  Traditionally ‘best in show’ is about displaying the best of products and services.

Similarly the conference is an opportunity for people who use AAC, their families, friends, work colleagues, and people who work within the area of AAC to come together to present the best in
partnerships, communication practices and supports for people with complex communication needs
and life participation.

The Royal Queensland Show brings people of all ages from different sectors of the community together.  Similarly the four themes of the conference highlights the best in AAC across different life stages and domains.
