The AGOSCI list is a forum for people with complex communication needs, family members, carers, therapists and teachers. Anyone who is interested in AGOSCI can join. We have members from all over Australia and the world now.

  5. The only events advertised are AGOSCI ones ( other events can be put on the state new page)
  6. You can subscribe and unsubscribe anytime you want (eg when you need to turn on and “out of office responder”)
  7. Not only can you ask questions you can share resources and praise ( always a good thing to do)

How it works

  1. When you receive an email from the list and want to reply click on reply and you will send to the whole list (not just the sender)
  2. To reply to just the sender type their name. (don’t be shy though it is good to share with the group)
  3. To start a question / topic send your email to listserve@agosci.org.au and remember to use the subject line to describe your post
  4. You manage your messages by creating a separate folder in your inbox and creating a rule to see that they go there ready for you to read at your leisure.
  5. If you go on a holiday and use an out of office message on your email unsubscribe and put a note on your keyboard reminding you to re-subscribe when you come back . (this saves sending a message to the whole group saying what you are up to)
