What is AGOSCI?

Established in 1981, AGOSCI is an inclusive group interested in enhancing the participation of all people with complex communication needs. People with complex communication needs often use communication aids to assist them.  AGOSCI also aims to build the capacity of society to achieve our vision.

Our vision is that people with complex communication needs participate fully in all aspects of life.

AGOSCI’s membership includes individuals with complex communication needs, family and community members, teachers, speech pathologists and other professionals.

Acknowledgement of Country

AGOSCacknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing  connection to lands, waters and communities.

We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have since passed away.

We would like to thank our friends at Key Word Sign Australian for creating the below resource acknowledging country through key word sign. We acknowledge Key Word Sign Australia for the use of this video. Key Word Sign Australia is a business unit of Scope (Aust) – www.kwsa.org.au
