This award is intended to honour someone who has made an outstanding contribution to our group. If an Award is conferred, it will be presented during the AGOSCI National Conference. Nominators and seconders must be financial members of AGOSCI. Nominees also need to be members.

The AGOSCI/Key Word Sign Australia Karen Bloomberg Award

The 2022 award, the inaugural award, will be presented in honour of the late Karen Bloomberg.  Karen was an AGOSCI founder, and a pillar of the Australia AAC community.  It will be awarded to a person who has demonstrated a high level commitment to low tech/unaided AAC in Australia, in the areas of research, implementation, or practice.
