Webinar overview

This member webinar is a product demonstration of various communication page sets available with auditory scanning features.

Claire from Zyteq (part of the Smartbox family), will provide a brief overview of auditory scanning and demonstrate how Grid supports communication using this access method. As creators of Grid AAC software, Smartbox has developed a range of features that support effective auditory scanning. Through demonstrations of communication page sets, auditory scanning features and system customisation options, attendees will learn practical strategies for implementing and optimising auditory scanning for AAC users. The session will also explore the importance of choosing the right hardware for auditory scanning, alongside appropriate software, highlighting features of Zyteq's dedicated AAC devices that can enhance listening, access and communication efficiency.

Evelyn from Control Bionics will introduce a new communication page set for auditory scanners, The Block. Evelyn will highlight how The Block reduces working memory load, supports quick access to language and improves communication efficiency. Through case studies, modifications and customisations for auditory scanners will also be explored.
