Welcome new Board Directors
At the May 2026 Annual General Meeting, AGOSCI confirmed its incoming Board following the recent member vote and transition to a smaller, skills-based Board structure.
AGOSCI has moved from a larger representative Board to a Board of seven to nine directors, serving staggered two-year terms. The previous structure played an important role in building AGOSCI’s national presence and ensuring broad jurisdictional representation. As AGOSCI continues to mature, the new structure is intended to support clearer accountability, faster decision-making, stronger strategic focus and more efficient governance.
We sincerely thank all outgoing directors for their contribution. AGOSCI has been built through the commitment of volunteers, advocates, professionals, AAC users, families and supporters across the AAC community. That contribution is deeply valued.
We also warmly welcome the incoming Board, who brings continuity, sector knowledge, professional capability and lived experience.
