National Tour 2026
Save the date!
AGOSCI’s National Tour runs every second year. In 2026, we are taking a slightly different approach to make the experience more accessible and flexible for all.
Rather than a traditional in-person tour, this year’s program will include:
- Online content you can access in advance, at your own pace
- A live-streamed session with Dr Elizabeth Biggs
- Half-day local sessions in each State and Territory, bringing people together to watch the live-stream, take part in Q & A, participate in a short local program, and connect in person
- Optional post-session content, including a short knowledge check and a professional development certificate
The live-stream will also be available online for those unable to attend in person. However, we encourage local attendance to make the most of the connection and networking opportunities.
This approach allows more people to participate, reduces travel barriers and time away from work, and supports both individual and group engagement across the country.
Topic: The Power of Peers: Supporting Meaningful Social Relationships for AAC Users
Date: Wednesday 16 September 2026. Locations and local times (aiming for within school hours where possible) will be confirmed shortly.
The session will focus on practical, evidence-based approaches to supporting peer relationships, communication, and language and literacy development for children and young people who use, or could benefit from, AAC.
