Who We Are
AGOSCI
Australia's Group Supporting Communication Inclusion (AGOSCI) was established in 1981 by a group of Speech Pathologists within Speech Pathology Australia, who had a vision to expand their reach in supporting people with complex communication needs, their families, and their professional and community networks.
Our purpose is to provide a community and platform for multimodal communicators, their families and supporters, and the professionals who work with them, as well as to facilitate opportunities and activities that serve our vision.
We are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a Health Promotion Charity.

All communicators can participate fully in the aspects of life that matter to them, because individual differences in communication needs, modes, styles and supports are recognised and respected in every community and space.
Our Mission is to educate, connect and advocate for communication inclusion.
Our Purpose
AGOSCI exists to build a community and platform for people who may not rely solely on speech to understand or be understood by others, their families and supporters, and the professionals who work with them. We create opportunities, foster connections, and advocate for inclusive communication in all areas of life.
