Learning to be a Better Communication Partner is an online, self-paced training course designed by Dr Jane Remington-Gurney. In partnership with AGOSCI, this course is now available to AGOSCI members at a heavily discounted rate. The training is pitched to a variety of learning styles, and designed to be accessible for all communication partners!

Course Overview

The course is divided into five self-paced learning modules. These are:

1. Setting The Scene: Foundations for introducing AAC.

2. Unaided Communication.

3. Aided Communication.

4. Styles of conversation.

5. Speaking and writing for social understanding.

Course Details

The course is accessed online, and includes a variety of audio visuals, interactive activities, and evidence-based materials.
